This morning we had Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis). A small, beautiful species of dolphin that are very curious when in contact with the boat. They have a white beak tip. When the sun hits this white spot as they come up from bright blue, it almost looks like a shining star. We also encountered Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus).
These two species were also seen on our midday tour. Among the Bottlenose dolphins, an animal suddenly appeared between the waves. It approached the boat and disappeared again. But thanks to him, we found the rest of the group. Was he a messenger?
