11.03.2015 – sommerdays in wintertime

Wieder eine ungewöhnliche (und von uns zeitmäßig sehr kurz gehaltene) Begegnung mit Gemeinen Delfinen, denn heute Vormittag waren es nur eine Delfinmutter und ihr Kalb, die wir in Küstennähe antrafen. Weiter draussen dann grosse Schulen ruhender Pilotwale und aktive Grosse Tümmler. Am Nachmittag dann aktive Grosse Tümmler um das Boot und später noch Gemeine Delfine in einer Fress-situation. Leider hatten wir die Kamera nicht an Bord, danke an Simon Schwede für seine Fotos dieser Ausfahrt.

Once again a unusual (and therefore we reduced it to short) encounter with Common Dolphins, because this morning we saw only one mother and her calf quiet close to shore. Further out we’ve been with with a big pod of resting Pilot Whales and active Bottlenose Dolphins. In the afternoon we saw active Bottlenose Dolphins around the boat and then a feeding situation of Common Dolphins.
