Another day, another trip, another sighting but with the same dolphin specie around. The Short-beaked common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) were having a great time surfing the waves. Their favorite playground is our blue office as it is commonly known. They show a remarkable adaptability from tropical to colder waters around the world but it seems they like a lot Madeira waters during the winter season. Maybe there’s a lot of food around or they thrive and get energy in these waters before continuing their journey.
