A small gap in the weather this morning provided good conditions for another STENELLA trip. We practically went from one sighting to another as soon as we left the harbor of Calheta. Todays sighting we had two groups of Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), one group of Atlantic-spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) and Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus). On land it was time for another Beach clean-up along the coastline of Madalena-do-mar. 50 volunteers work together in creating awareness for the coastline pollution along our beautiful island…
