            NATUR(E)ally cleaning

Published by lobosonda on November 27, 2018

Maybe you wonder why we talk about cosmetic products in our newsletter? Taking one step further every product we use in the bathroom, shower and household has an impact on our water, on our oceans. Therefore, it is essential to act consciously and environmentally friendly.

            Lush – A great option

If you want to buy eco-friendly soap, shampoo, body lotion, etc., we recommend Lush.

Personally I like the principle “Back to basics”! Instead of investing in packaging that harms our environment, Lush recruits highly qualified personnel who, in personal consultation with the customer, determine which product really suits their needs. In my opinion, this alone is a worthwhile concept in an increasingly fast-paced world, where everything is ordered online and anonymously. Unfortunately, direct customer service is a quality that is gradually being lost. Maybe I’m old school, but in my opinion “Back to basics” should come back into fashion. That at least would make our world more human again. Another positive side effect is a reduction in beauty products in the bathrooms.

NATUR(E)ally, it’s not just about the social aspect but in particular about the best quality, if you want to get a great soap in the bathroom. Lush products include fair trade, natural and organically sourced ingredients. Vegans will also find a fragrant bathroom treasure here. By eliminating water, the products become self-preserving. Therefore, no need for packaging. Mother nature can breathe!

NATUR(E)ally, all products are made by hand here. So, when you pick up a Lush product, the sticker on it, not only tells you when your product will last but the face you are looking at, is actually the person who made it. Very cool, right?

NATUR(E)ally the required ingredients are only bought by companies that are guaranteed to have nothing to do with animal testing and also live an ethical corporate concept otherwise. As a true nature and animal lover that I am, this is another must.

NATUR(E)ally always clean, also morally! 😉

            Do it yourself

            The advantages:

            1. It’s easy

            2. It’s fun to experiment

            3. It’s environmentally friendly

            4. And can be a nice self-made gift.

Here is a little recipe ….

            Sea salt peeling

(Ingredients: sea salt – almond oil – essential oil of your choice)

If the sea salt is too coarse, it should be grinded (so the peeling is gentler on the skin). Add the almond oil slowly to the sea salt until a slightly liquid consistency is achieved. Add the essential oil drop by drop until the desired intensity of scent is achieved. Whether it is fruity, fresh or spicy, you decide! For the essential oils, please pay attention to quality, which can be used for cosmetics.

Store the scrub in a closable glass jar. Before use, mix the three ingredients well! Take it with a spoon, a little is enough.  After showering, a fine oil film will be on the skin, which is great because when you dry yourself, you do not need to moisturize yourself.

So get wet- gently apply the scrub – gently rub in – shower off – dry off – smell good – pure and NATUR(E)ally WELLNESS.
