On Madeira island there are lots of bananas, but not only on land. Today we observed one banana plant floating at the surface far out on the sunny ocean. But that’s not all what we saw. First we could admire the the wonderful colours of a Portugiese Man of War, then we saw lots of Cory Shearwaters, which our guests called the Aua aua birds, due to their funny noises which they do at night close to shore. And finally, close to two Loggerhead Seattle, we had a pod of Common dolphins around us.
