Offshore is the word of the day… on both trips we really had to travel a lot to find the animals. Maybe they are starting to feel that bad weather is coming and they are travelling far to escape it.
On morning trip, with our traditional boat, we had the Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus), the Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and the jumpy Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba). We were alone in the southwest and we had the ocean and the cetaceans just for ourselves.
In the afternoon we had the usual pair, Bottlenose dolphins and Pilot whales riding side by side to the amusement of our clients.
