            …. das ist leider kein Part in einem Märchen, sondern grausame Realität vor der peruanischen Küste. Dort werden jährlich 15.000 Delfine für den Haifischfang erlegt. Das ist illegal!

            Trotzdem jagen seit Jahren mehr als 500 speziell ausgerüstete Fischerboote die Delfine mit Harpunen. Ihr Fleisch ist ein billiger und beliebter Köder für den Haifischfang. Auf dem asiatischen Markt sind die Flossen der Haie eine heißbegehrte Ware.

            … Off Peru’s Pacific coast, yearly 15.000 dolphins are being slaughtered to be used solely as shark bait. Of course this is ilegal, but it still hapens a lot! More than 500 special equipped boats go out to hunt dolphins with harpoons, then the slices of the fat dolphin meat are used to catch sharks, because its cheap and sharks love the meat. Shark meat is predominantly consumed within Peru, but the fins will be exported to the Far East where “shark fin soup” is very popular. More information click HERE!

            …Infelizmente isto não se trata de uma história fictícia, mas bem podia ser um filme de terror aquilo que se passa na realidade na costa do Peru. Aqui são mortos anualmente 15.000 golfinhos para dar de isco aos tubarões mesmo sendo ilegal!

            Mesmo assim mais de 500 barcos, totalmente equipados e preparados para este massacre, saem todos os anos para a caça aos golfinhos com arpões. A carne dos golfinhos sai barato e é apreciada pelos tubarões. Mas como se não bastasse o massacre aos golfinhos também os tubarões são massacrados pois por estas bandas a carne de tubarão é bastante apreciada, as barbatanas dos tubarões são depois exportadas para o mercado asiático para confeccionarem a chamada “sopa de barbatana de tubarão”
