Heute war das Wetter recht herbstlich, doch auf der Vormittagstour sahen wir mit der Ribeira Brava Streifendelfine, die sich durch wunderschöne Sprünge bemerkbar machten. Streifendelfine sind im algemein sehr aktiv, sie können bis zu 7 m “breachen” und sind die besten Akrobaten 😉 Sie sind auch sehr schnell, wenn man dazu die Verhältnisse des Meeres nimmt, ist es sehr schwierig gute Fotos zu machen. Aus diesem Grund haben wir heute nur ein gutes Foto und zwei Streifendelfin-postkarten die Sie bei uns im Laden bekommen können (neben vielen anderen). Unsere Nachmittagsgäste hatten leider Pech, nicht mal Senhor Luis konnte dem Regen ausweichen, obwohl dies seine Spezialität ist

Today the weather was quiet autumnal, in the morning we went out with Ribeira Brava and saw striped dolphins, and some espectacular jumps. Striped dolphins are very active and highly conspicuous, they frequently breache as hight as 7 m and they also are the best acrobats around here 😉 They also are very fast and if you combine their speed with the moving whater it is very difficult to get a good picture, so this time Fatima only took a good one. The two pictures below are some postcards that you can find in our shop, amongst many other things. Sadly the afternoon trip wasn’t so lusky, and even Sr Luís couldn’t avoid the rain, wich normally is his speciality.
