Ein ruhiges Wochenende, gestern keine Fahrt und heute eine auf der Stenella wo wir Großwale (Finnwale waren es wohl doch nicht), Streifendelfine (leider ohne Fotos) und Fleckendelfine sahen. Noch wichtiger als diese tollen Sichtungen ist aber die Petition, die nun auf 4 Sprachen (deutsch ganz unten) in Avaaz geschaltet wurde. Sie richtet sich gegen das geplante Delfinarium hier auf Madeira. Bitte helfen Sie alle mit, unterschreiben und leiten die Petition weiter. Es darf einfach nicht solch ein Delfingefängnis bei uns auf der Insel entstehen.

A quiet weekend, yesterday no trips and today only one trip with Stenella and we saw Baleen whales (from the pictures we can’t identify the whale), striped dolphins (without photos) and spotted dolphins. But more important than the sightings is the petition, you can read it in 4 languages in Avaaz. The petition is about the dolphinarium that they want to build here in Madeira. Please help us to prevent this cruelty and sign the Petition.

Um fim de semana calmo hoje, ontem não tivemos viagens e hoje saímos uma vez com o Stenella, vimos uma baleia de barbas (não conseguimos identificar ainda qual), golfinhos riscados (sem fotos) e golfinhos pintados. Mas mais importante que os nossos avistamentos é a Petição que está a circular contra a construção de um delfinário aqui na Madeira. Porfavor juntem se a nos nesta luta.
