Physeter macrocephalus
Ein toller Abschluss des Monats heute auf unserer Stenellafahrt. Zuerst sahen wir keine 500m von der Küste entfernt, gleich vor dem Hotel Calheta Beach eine Gruppe gemeiner Delfine beim Fressen zu. Dann leitete unser Späher uns noch zu Fleckendelfinen und die letzte Sichtung dieser Fahrt waren dann einige Pottwale mit Jungtieren.
Stenella frontalis
What a nice way to finish the month of February on the speedboat Stenella. First we saw a pod of common dolphins, not more than 500 offshore, just in front of the hotel Calheta Beach. Then our spotter guided us towards a pod of atlantic spotted dolphins and the and of this trip were sightings with some sperm whales with their young once.

Que fim do mês com a viagem da Stenella. Primeiro avistamento logo frente do hotel Calheta Beach, nem se quer 500 metros da costa, golfinhos comuns em alimentação, depois o nosso vigia guiou-nos para um grupo de golfinhos pintados e para acabar mesmo em grande ainda tivemos o privilégio de poder observar vários cachalotes.
