Stenella frontalis 

Morgens Fleckis, sowohl die “Ribeira Brava” als auch die “Stenella” waren bei den Fleckendelfinen (auch Zügeldelfine genannt). Später fuhr die “Stenella” dann noch zu Streifendelfinen. Nachmittags fuhr dann nur die “Ribeira Brava” raus und verbrachte einige Zeit bei einer großen Schule von Tümmlern. Der Wind hatte aufgefrischt und gedreht und es war gar nicht so leicht für unseren Späher, die Tiere zu entdecken. Morgen wird es keine Fahrten geben, wir warten auf ruhigeres Meer für Samstag.

In the morning atlantic spotted dolphins, with the “Ribeira Brava” and as well with the “Stenella” we’ve been with spotted dolphins. Later on the “Stenella” went towards a group of striped dolphins. In the afternoon only the “Ribeira Brava” went out and we had some good time with a big pod of bottlenose dolphins. The wind had changed direction and was a bit stronger and so the spotted had a difficult work till he found the dolphins. Tomorrow there will be no trip, we wait for calmer and better sea for saturday.

Tursiops truncatus

De manha golfinhos pintados, tanto  a “Ribeira Brava” como a “Stenella” avistamos estes golfinhos divertidos. Mais tarde a “Stenella” fui ao pé de golfinhos riscados. A tarde só houve viagem para a “Ribeira Brava”  e tivemos um bom pedaço com um grupo grande de roazes. O vento tinha aumentado e virado para Noroeste e assim o vigia teve um papel difícil para encontrar os animais, mas consegui. OBRIGADA pelo esforço!!! Amanha não vai haver viagem, vamos esperar para o mar mais calmo no sabado.
