Was für eine Fahrt heute morgen mit der Stenella: Tümmler, 2 Schildkröten, Pilotwale, dann Blainville Schnabelwale ganz nah, neugierig ums Boot herum, den hellen Bauch zeigend und sogar ein kompletter Sprung aus dem Wasser, dann noch mal andere Tümmler und zum Abschluss weit draussen noch ein Pottwal. Nachmittags auf der Ribeira Brava sahen wir eine weitere Schule Tümmler und wieder Blainvill’s aber diesmal scheu wie normal und viele fliegende Fische. Und Anja und Sonja, unsere beiden Kurzen, immer dabei mit Leib und Seele.

What a trip this morning! We went out with Stenella and saw: bottelnose dolphins, 2 sea turtels, pilot whales, blainville’s beaked whales really close by and very curious about our boat, we even saw a complete jump out of the water, and then some more bottelnose dolphins and a sperm whale. In the afternoon with Ribeira Brava we saw a group of bottelnose dolphins and blainville’s beked whales, again, but this time shy as usual, and a few flyingfish.

Mas que viagem a de hoje! Saimos com o Stenella e vimos: roazes, 2 tartarugas, baleias piloto, Baleias de bico Blainville que se chegaram muito perto do barco, mostraram a barriga e ainda vimos um salto completo, depois outra vez roazes e um cachalote. Na viagem da tarde com o Ribeira Brava vimos roazes e Baleias de bico Blainville, mas desta vez recatadas como é usual, e alguns peixes voadores.
