Fatima is our whale watching guide mostly on board Ribeira Brava, our tradicional fishing boat, and she will be helping out with the text for this blog.  In the morning the group of guests where lucky enougth to see some “last minute” dolphins 😉 And in the afternoon we saw bottelnose dolphins, a sea turtel who was beeing used as surf board by a common tern to ride the waves, sometimes the bird would loose his balance and had to fly around but came back quicly to ride the next wave. Frau Grünwald said that those two (the turtel and the common tern) invented SURF. In the meantime, Astrid our marine biologist, went out with Stenella and also saw bottlenose dolphins and sea turtels.
