Stenella frontalis (Ribeira Brava 17:00 / Stenella 17:30)

Regen im August an Maria Himmelfahrt, was sagt die alte Bauernregel dazu? Wir wissen es ist ungewöhnlich und das Meer war wohl auch deshalb etwas unruhig. Die Fleckendelfine erreichten wir daher morgens leider nicht, wohl aber bei allen 3 folgenden Fahrten mit der “Ribeira Brava” und der “Stenella”.

Rain in August on the 15th of August, what does this mean? We know that it is very unusual and because of this the sea was a bit rough. The atlantic spotted dolphins we couldn’t reach on the morning trip, but on all 3 following trips, with “Ribeira Brava” and “Stenella”, we had sightings from atlantic spotted dolphins.

Chuva em Agusto no Dia do Monte, o que quer dizer isto? Nos sabemos que é raro e por causa disso o mar estava mais agitada hoje. O “Ribeira Brava” na viagem da manha não consegui ver os golfinhos pintados, mas em todas as 3 viagens seguintes, tanto como “Stenella” como no “Ribeira Brava”, tivemos avistamentos dessa espécie.
