This afternoon Ribeira Brava was in our blue office on a cuddle course with playful Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) and the interesting Rough-toothed dolphins (Steno bredanensis). The two species of dolphins seemed to be handing over our boat from one large school of dolphins to another. As soon as the Rough-toothed dolphins found us, our little Spotted dolphins were gone. We were definitely the beneficiaries of this nature encounter, because both species were absolutely sociable and caressed the bow of the fishing boat.
Personally, I think it’s a nice gesture when you give something back in one way or another when you receive a gift or when something very special happens to you. It doesn’t even have to be material. It can be a gesture, a form of affection, a good deed. Sometimes you don’t give something back directly to the giver, but someone else becomes a beneficiary. That is the law of balance. For me, the philosophy of win – win includes mindfulness, perception, the ability to accept, appreciation, gratitude and the desire to act in a way that is good for another so everything is kept in healthy flow.
Today we were noticed by the dolphins and given rich gifts of affection. As beneficiaries from natures treats, the win-win situation can arise, when we for example do something to ensure that these animals live in a healthy, vital habitat and / or do something for their protection. One suggestion is to sign our petitions.

Act according to the win-win philosophy as often as possible. There is a sense of wealth within.
