Tursiops truncatus
Obwohl es zur Zeit sehr schwer ist mit dem Wetter, hatten wir heute 4 Touren, zwei mit der Stenella und zwei mit der Ribeira Brava. Sowie die Tiere gehört der Regen auch zur Natur und die Natur ist eben unvorhersehbar. Wir haben nicht mit den Regen gerechnet, aber plötzlich war er da. Die Ribeira Brava ist deswegen ein bisschen später raus gefahren. Auf allen 4 Touren hatten wir schöne Sichtungen und nette Gäste. Auf allen Touren sahen wir Große Tümmler. Teilweise waren sie sehr interaktiv mit unseren Booten und äußerst sprungfreudig. So konnten unsere Gäste diese wunderschönen Tiere in ihrem natürlichen Element erleben. An dieser Stelle möchten wir nochmals auf unsere Petition gegen das geplante Delfinarium auf Madeira aufmerksam machen. Mit Ihrer Unterstützung können wir diese Pläne hoffentlich stoppen.
Außerdem gabe es den einen oder anderen Blas zu sehen und die Stenella hatte am Nachmittag noch Atlantische Fleckendelfine in einer Fressituation gesehen.
Im Moment haben wir ein kleines Problem mit den Fotos von der Kamera. Alle Fotos werden nach geposted, sobald es möglich ist.
Even though it is starting to get difficult to plan the trips because of the weather we went out 4 times today, two weigh each boat. As well as the animals the weather belongs to nature, and we can’t predict nature, we weren’t expecting the rain but suddenly he was there. Ribeira Brava went out with a short delay but we where able to do all four trips, with nice sightings and nice guests on board. On all our tours we saw bottle nose dolphins, sometimes very active and jumping around, so our guests got to see these beautiful animals in their natural element. We would like to draw attention to the Petitions on our blog because of the delphinium they are planning to build in Madeira. With your support we may prevent this from happening.
We also saw some blows and in the afternoon Stenella saw spotted dolphins feeding.
