Today’s trips got off to a very smooth start, with bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus) resting on the surface and travelling at a slow pace. Sunday is the day of rest for most of us, so why shouldn’t they have a morning like that? The afternoon brought our regulars, the bottlenose dolphins. They were not in a rush again; they were just enjoying each other’s company.
