            06.03.2024 – A Day of Dolphins: Short-beaked Common and Bottlenose Delight!

            We had a sunny day on the open sea, and suddenly, a lively show unfolds before us. Short-beaked Common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) and Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) put on a spectacular display, leaving us in awe.

            The Short-beaked Common dolphins, with their sleek bodies and vibrant patterns, swirled and twirled through the waves. It was like watching a dance party in the ocean—full of energy and color. Did you knwo Short-beaked Common dolphins are like the acrobats of the sea, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h!

            At the end we encountered the Bottlenose dolphins joined the fun, showcasing their playful side with flips and spins. Their friendly faces seemed to be smiling, making it impossible not to smile back. They are known for their intelligence and social tight knits groups.

            Today’s dolphin encounter was a reminder of the magic that happens in our oceans. These charming creatures not only brought joy to our day but also nudged us to appreciate and protect the incredible marine life that shares our world. Here’s to more moments of ocean wonder!
