Tursiops truncatus

Nach einigen Tagen mit schlechtem Meer und ohne Fahrten sind wir heute wieder rausgefahren. Wir sahen eine große Schule von Tümmlern und einen Madeira Wellenläufer. Die Nachmittagsfahrt mußten wir leider stornieren, der Wind aus Ost war zu stark und auch für morgen sieht es ähnlich aus. Wir werden an Land bleiben.

After some days with bad sea we went out again, saw a big pod of bottlenose dolphins and a madeiran storm petrel. But the afternoon trip we had to cancel, too much wind from east. For tomorrow as well, the same forecast and we will not go out.

Depois de alguns dias com mar mau, saímos hoje novamente e vimos um grupo grande de roazes e um roque de castro. Mas a tarde tivemos de cancelar, demasiado vento do leste. Para amanha também o mesmo e não vamos sair.

Einige der Tiere in der Schule waren etwas mager, man konnte ihre Rippen zählen.

Some of the animals have been a bit thin, we could count their rips.

Algumas dos animais estavam um pouco magro, dava para contar costelas.
