            03.01.2018 – Keeping the word

Published by Marlene Cabral on January 17, 2018

Our principle during our work on the ocean is to meet the animals with respect. This means to keep the word even when our guests understandably would like to experience a more intensive encounter. This morning we had this case! We had a very small group of Bottlenose dolphins, only three animals. Since we knew they already had other contacts with boats and the animals were peaky, it was possible to count their rips; we decided to leave after five minutes. I would like thank our understanding guests! If we write respectful whale watching on our flags, we sometimes need to make decisions like this for the benefit of the animals. And maybe tourists decide for that reason to come with us. During the afternoon trip we had socializing Pilot whales and a group of active Common dolphins.
