Only one trip with the RIBEIRA BRAVA today and still some swell from the west hitting the coast, but no wind. It didn’t take long until we spotted the Bottlenose dolphins followed by Short-beaked Common dolphins and finally a group of Pilot whales. In our way back we saw again a group of Bottlenose dolphins hunting some mackerel close to shore, in murky waters. Hunting in group and making use of their bioacustic hunting skills, the Atlantic-mackerel (Scomber scombrus), had very litle chance to escape their jaws…
