February

February can be great in terms of sightings, sometimes we are lucky enough to meet Finback whales off the coast of Madeira. They travel North in the hope to find plenty of food in their feeding grounds.

In February we have quite a few special Ocean days, like the World Whale day! February 17^th is a day for the heart, a day for random acts of kindness. But this should be a daily ritual, isn’t it? And what makes 20.02. special? On February 20^th 2012 our speed boat “Stenella” went out for the first time to sight marine mammals.
