November 4, 2010Heute gab es “nur” Fleckendelfine, oder Zügeldelfine, zu sehen. Morgens eine Schule von nur erwachsenen Tieren und nachmittags eine gemischte Schule nach langer Suche. Morgens begleiteten uns ein paar Fluss-Seeschwalben, nachmittags sahen wir einen Madeirawellenläufer (leider kein Foto machen können).
Today we “only” saw atlantic spotted dolphins. In the morning it was a group of adult animals and in the afternoon it was a mixed group that we found after a long surch. In the morning some common turns followed the boat and in the afternoon we saw a madeiran storm petrel (unfurtunatly we couldn’t make a foto).
Hoje vomos “só” golfinhos pintados. De manha era um grupo só com adultos e a tarde era um grupo misto que encontramos depois uma longa procura. De manha havia umas garajaus comuns, que acompanharam o barco e a tarde vimos um roque de castro (sem poder tirar uma fotografia).

Ein wunderschöner Nachmittag! Ein besonderes Dankeschön, daß Sie sich die Mühe machten, nach langer Suche u. schon fast zurück im Hafen von Calheta, doch noch Kurs auf eine Schule von Delfinen zu nehmen. Wir wählten eine Fahrt mit der “Ribeira Brava” wegen Ihres umweltbewußten Vorgehens.
A beautiful afternoon! A special thank you for having taken the trouble to change course and head for a pod of dolphins after we were nearly back in the harbour of Calheta. We chose our trip with the “Ribeira Brava” because we were impressed by your concern for the environment.
