The picture of August shows a Pilot whale. These animals live in a tide, matriarchal collective. They are named Pilot whales because of the fact, that the whole group follows one animal. You might discover the scratches on the skin of the animal. If one thinks dolphins are always in harmony, one is mistaking. Sometimes they bit in a playful manner but sometimes to prove their dominance.
In August we have two special Ocean days: Day of the fishes and Whale Shark Day.
