This year we will be going out to Funchal to watch the fireworks with Stenella. Ribeira Brava will stay in the harbor as it is a long way until Funchal for this old lady.
With Stenella it takes approximately 1 hour, and it is the perfect alternative for guests that are staying in the southwest of Madeira. You won’t have to go through the New Year´s traffic and no parking stress, this way you can enjoy the beautiful coast by night decorated with all the Christmas lights.
We will meet at 22.15h in our shop, harbour of Calheta, and at 22.30h we will be heading to Funchal to watch the amazing fireworks from the sea. The trip costs 93€ p/ person and includes some snacks and sparkling wine to celebrate.
You won’t need your high heels for this occasion 😉 We recommend you bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes and a windbreaker, if you have sensitive ears bring a beanie.
