Our morning trip was amazing, very amazing! We met three different groups of Atlantic Spotted dolphins. But not enough on our way back we had as well a little kindergarten group of Common dolphins. Two adults brought a tiny little calf in the bow of Ribeira Brava and it seemed it got some surfing training. The little one must have felt like a rock star because of all the admiration it got from us. It still had birth marks and was already famous. Practice makes it perfect … Our afternoon trip with Bottlenose dolphins got quite racy, with high speed they dashed through the ocean. These Bottlenose dolphins just travel through this area. But we saw as well again Atlantic Spotted dolphins. One animal showed us its best version of pirouettes.
