Every year it’s different in terms of climate, and with nature there are no specific dates when winter starts or ends. There are many variables to this equazion, some due to Mother nature and some due to Antropogenic influence. This year only since last week the Ocean tempeture has dropped down to 17 degrees, and we are already near Spring season. This delay, may explain why we haven’t still sighted larger groups of Common dolphins offshore Madeira Island. Still the tipical leaping out of water by this cetaceans was witnessed by us on board STENELLA today, while they were feeding ?
