Wal-Shit, das bekamen wir heute zu sehen, gleich zwei Mal. Und dazugehörig gab es auch die Wale, FINNWALE, drei an der Zahl. Unsere Gäste der Ribeira Brava hatten heute das Glück diese großen Bartenwale lange zu beobachten, während diese sehr langsam Richtung Nord-Westen zogen. Zu Beginn der Sichtung waren im selben Areal PILOTWALE. Eine besondere Kombination. Auf dem Weg zurück gab es als Zusatz eine fröhliche Gruppe GEWÖHNLICHE DELFINE. Auf der Nachmittagstour zeigte sich ein Gemischtes Doppel: GEWÖHNLICHE DELFINE und STREIFENDELFINE.
So gab es heute Tieren mit unterschiedlichsten Sozialformen. Eher einzelgängerisch, bzw. nur in Kleinstgruppen unterwegs mit wechselnden Gruppenkonstellationen: die Finnwale! Eine matriarchale Gruppenstruktur: die Pilotwale! In einer Hierarchie lebend: die Gewöhnlichen Delfine und die Streifendelfine.
Whale shit!! That’s what we saw today times two. We also saw the whale to whom the shit belong, 3 FIN WHALES. Our guests on board Ribeira Brava had the pleasure to watch these beautiful animals for a long time while they traveled North-West. As we reached the whales we noticed that they where not alone, some PILOTE WHALES where around, not a common mixture. On our way back we had a bonus: happy COMMON DOLPHINS. On the afternoon tour we saw another mixture: COMMON DOLPHINS and STRIPED DOLPHINS.
Our guests where able to observe three different kinds of social behaviour: More solitary or travelling in small groups with changing groupings: Finnback whales. A matriarchal structure: Pilot whales. Living in a hierarchy: Common dolphins and Striped dolphins
