Today on the last day of the year we tried to do the last trips of 2025. The problem was only that the weather conditions were not the best. Strong winds meant we had quite a bit of waves, but apart from that also rainclouds appeared. At one point it was raining is much on the island and along the coast that virtually the whole island disappeared. It was a strange feeling being out there without the usual reference for orientation. Rain and bad weather sadly also meant that finding animals in the ocean was almost impossible. Our spotter tried his best, but the annals were simply out of sight too.
With that said have a good start into 2026 and let’s see how it will be here on the island.
