Another day with heaps of dolphins. Throughout the day we saw the Atlantic spotted (Stenella frontalis), Bottlenose (Tursiops truncatus) and Risso’s dolphins (Grampus griseus). In the evening, we even came across a Loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta).
While the dolphins were great of course, the weather was also quite noteworthy. It started with a light drizzle in the morning and carried on until evening. In between dolphin sightings, our guests got to feel the rain on their skins and release their inhibitions (by expressing wonder about the unpredictability of meteorological events). Especially moments on Stenella, when we were speeding in between sightings, rain drops were hitting in the face with full force. Definitely one to remember.
