            The big „Grind“

Christmas is a time of traditions and contemplativeness.  But there are places were tradition has another meaning, like on the Faroe Islands. Every year, at the so called „Grind“, they slaughter Pilot Whales for traditional reasons. Over there the bay turnes red.

During our trips we have observe Pilot whales quit often. We have been gifted with so many lovely moments in comapny with this beautiful marine mammals. Therefore we campain for their procession. More information here on onegreenplanet

            O “Grind”
