6.08.2015 – “SPEEDY GONZALES”

Claudia’s Eindruck: Die erste Stenellatour zu zwei unterschiedlichen Delfinarien, GEWÖHNLICHE DELFINE und FLECKENDELFINE, fand im Kreise einer sympathischen Großfamilie statt. Am Nachmittag dann eine bunt gemischte Gruppe aus Slovenien, Frankreich und Deutschland. Die 2 Schulen von FLECKENDELFINEN dieser Tour waren teilweise fast fliegend unterwegs (Fotos von diesen Speedy Gonzales’ werden nachgereicht). Trotz des Tempos gab es schöne Schnorchel – Momente.

9:00: GEMEINE DELFINE, FLECKENDELFINE

dannach wurde in Funchal getankt, 2 Stunden Hinfahrt in der Sonne, dann 45 Minuten 2000 Liter tanken und 2 Stunden Rückfahrt in der Sonne, dabei wurde Fatima heute erfinderisch 😉

Claudia’s impressions: The first Stenella tour today brought us towards two different species of dolphins: COMMON DOLPHINS and ATLANTIC SPOTTED DOLPHINS. On board a sympatric extended family from England. In the afternoon trip we had a good mixture from different countries: Slovenia, France and Germany. The two pods of ATLANTIC SPOTTED DOLPHINS from these tour nearly were flying over the water, so fast they were speeding up (photos from these Speedy Gonzales’ will be posted a bit later). And beside this we could provide some nice snorkelling moments.

after that we went to Funchal filling the tanks with diesel: 2 hours way to Funchal in the sun, 45 minutes charging 2000 liters and 2 hours way back to Calheta in the sun, Fatima got creative 😉
