At 3 to 4 meters in length, Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) are truly impressive. Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis), on the other hand, are about the same size as me. While bottlenose dolphins are often more reserved, Atlantic spotted dolphins prove to be very sociable; I like to call them “human watchers.” We saw both species today.
