            30.10.2017 – A richly laid table

Published by lobosonda on November 4, 2017

A rich day full of great sightings ends! It was as well a day full of abundance for marine mammals, since there was a lot of food around. During our trips there were many so called “fish balls” to observe. Schooling fish crowed close together – safety in numbers is the big hope, maybe… – To our guests and crews delight, the Atlantic Spotted dolphins were again in one’s top best form. On Ribeira Brava the Bottlenose dolphins made Luisa (from our front desk) very happy. Only the Baleen whales were quite reserved, BUT on our last trip we were lucky enough to get a brief close peek and clearly identified this whale as Tropical whale. We had an amazing and happy day on the ocean!
