Who’d have thought that after today beginning so grey and in some parts of the Island with rain, the day would turn out the way it did. So much could be said about our hours on the ocean. . .
Thank you big baleen whales for passing just at the right time here on the south west of Madeira island during your long journey up to the north.
Thank you Drumond for one more blue whale, the third one this mounth.
Thank you Senhor Luis for your confidence and secure steering against wind and waves.
Thank you to all the guests, that shared our happyness about these great encounters, weather the big one or the small one.
Thank you for your nice whistling and the good mood of the french group.
Thank you Filipe for your cautious and soft approach to the animals.
Thank you Fatima for your foto checking and the definitive identification of the species, because only like this it was possible to be sure about some of the whales. Definitly it were two Sei whales and not Fin whales (photos show no white right side of the jaw and form of the fin)
Thank you Marlene and Luisa for your enthusiastic support in the shop.
