Das gabs heute auf dem Meer bei uns zu sehen: vormittags gemeine Delfine und nachmittags residente und ozeanische Tümmler. Auf beiden Touren sahen wir portugiesische Galeeren.

This is what we saw today on our ocean: in the morning we had common dolphins and in the afternoon resident and transident bottlenose dolphins. On both tours we saw the portuguese man of war.

Tursiops truncatus (resident)

Diese residenten Tümmler sehen nicht gesund aus, ganz im Gegensatz zu der ozeanischen Form, die kräftig aussehen und auch so schwimmen.

These resident bottlenose dolphins aren´t looking very healthy, in opposite to the oceanic once which look and swim strong.

Estes roazes não têm um aspecto saudável, muito pelo contrário do tipo oceânico que tem o corpo mais robusto e nada também assim.

Tursiops truncatus (offshore)

Hoje no mar do sudoeste encontramos: de manha golfinhos comuns e a tarde roazes. Em ambas as viagens vimos caravela portuguesas.
