This morning, the weather didn’t seem to be able to decide which way it wanted to go. There was a strange atmosphere over the sea. Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus) and Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) were nevertheless present.
During the rest of the day, Short-beaked common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) and a Sei whale (Balaenoptera borealis) and one Humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) were also seen on the tours.
So there were four toothed whale species out there today, but two were different as the Sei whale and Humpback whale are baleen whales.
