In a job like ours, one becomes easily aware that we are not in control of nature’s dimension and power. The last few days were windy, the sea too stormy to go out but this morning there was a small weather gap that allowed us to bring our guests to the beautiful, bustling Atlantic Spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis). The little marine mammals definitely enjoyed the waves! Surf, breaching over waves, dive through other waves … so many possibilities. It was a nice experience that our guests will definitely remember.
Already in the afternoon it was not possible to go on a tour. We can show all commitment, plan and be present, ready for adventure, but in the end it is nature that determines what is possible or even impossible.
