At the moment, Madeira is wrapped in yellow. The desert wind not only brings heat, but also a fine dust that wafts in the air. The sea was sensationally calm. It looked like a silk scarf. Our most common sightings at the moment are the Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis). They surfed in the bow wave of the Ribeira Brava today. This small species of dolphin often shows very active behavior on the surface, more correctly said above the surface. In long, fast leaps, they approached Stenella in the evening. In the evening tour we spotted seven Loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta), some disappeared as soon as they spotted us, but there were also interested animals.
