25.10.2024 – Sunshine and Rainbows

Sunshine, rainbows, jumping dolphins, and a turtle!! No, it’s not the cover of Teenage Girls magazine from the early 2000s; it was Todyas Tours. The weather has been a little rough in Calheta with wind and rain in the hills, and this coupled with sunshine has led to several clear rainbows seen on all tours today. This beautiful landscape was coupled with even more beautiful views of striped, bottlenose, and spotted dolphins (Stenella coerualba, Tursiops truncatus, and Stenella frontalis).
