25.04.2024 – A Day of Dolphin Delight in Madeira!

Today’s adventure in Madeira’s sparkling waters was a dolphin lover’s dream come true! From the energetic Common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) to the charismatic Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), the ocean was alive with joy.

But it wasn’t just one species stealing the show – we were treated to a spectacle of dolphin diversity! Alongside the familiar faces, we encountered the striking Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) and the enchanting Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis), each with its own unique charm.

These playful creatures danced around our boat, delighting us with their acrobatics and seemingly endless energy. It was a reminder of the magic that lies just beneath the surface of the sea.

Today’s encounters were a testament to the rich marine life that calls Madeira home. As we reflect on this unforgettable day, we’re filled with gratitude for the opportunity to witness such beauty up close.Here’s to more dolphin-filled adventures in the future!
