This December, we found more waves on our tours than our friends in the blue office. On many tours, we returned without sightings. But today we were lucky. Three different marine mammal species showed themselves to us. Even our summer dolphins, the Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis), were still here. On the way back, we encountered Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus) and Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), which were travelling together as they often do.
On the tour we talked about the brutal killing of Pilot whales and Bottlenose dolphins in Taiji/Japan and on the Faroe Islands. Click here for the petitions:https://www.lobosonda.com/marine-protection/
