We waited and searched for marine mammals in one area twice today. The first time, Blainville’s beaked whales (Mesoplodon densirostris) had dived. But when and where did they come back up? We didn’t get to see them. Then we looked for Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis), but unfortunately they were nowhere to be found. So unfortunately we came back without a marine mammal sighting. In such cases, our guests get the mermaid ticked in their sighting pass. This is our sign that there was no sighting. If the guests try again with us, they can bring the pass with them and get a discount per person. So, maybe we’ll see you again!
