In this past two days we had Fin whales as the most sighted baleen whales, in front of Ponta do Sol. The approach hasn’t been easy, so most of the sightings have been far away and with unpredictable routes, it is never easy to see them up close. It seems that the two specimens that were in front of Ponta do Sol are constantly circling the area, possibly searching for prey.
