20.07.2015 – “Oh, wie schön”

Fatima’s Eindrücke: Herrliche Touren gab es heute und eine ganz ungewöhnliche Mischung von Tieren. Am Morgen begegnete die Ribeira Brava einer Gruppe von PILOTWALEN gemixt mit ATLANTISCHEN FLECKENDELFINEN. Das kommt nicht alle Tage vor und so wie es aussah, mischten die kleinen Delfine ein kleines Grüppchen junger PILOTWALE ganz schön auf. Die sonst eher ruhigen Tiere wurde von den Fleckis mal hier und mal dort hin getrieben. Im Anschluss wurden die Gäste nochmals mit ATLANTISCHEN FLECKENDELFINEN und  UNECHTEN KARETTSCHILDKRÖTEN verwöhnt.

Auch am Nachmittag stand die Tour unter dem Motto “Oh, wie schön” (Äusserung eines Gastes). Zuerst GROSSE TÜMMLER, die es jedoch eilig hatten, gefolgt von ruhenden PILOTWALEN und zum Abschluss lebhafte ATLANTISCHE FLECKENDELFINE. Auch dem zweiten Kommentar eines Gastes “Das könnte man ja ewig machen”, kann ich mich nur anschließen. Ach, wie herrlich!

Fatimas impressions: Lovley tours today, and a very uncommon mix of animals. In the morning, with our vessel Ribeira Brava,  we saw a group of PILOT WHALES mixed with SPOTTED DOLPHINS. Something like that does not happen every day, we also noticed that the young dolphins created quiet a frenzy between the young pilot whales. The normally calm pilot whales got pushed around by the young spotted dolphins. And to end the tour we saw the SPOTTED DOLPHINS and a LOGGERHEAD SEA TURTLE.

In the afternoon we saw BOTTLENOSE DOLPHINS in a hurry followed by the calm and always relaxed PILOT WHALES. To end the tour we saw happy SPOTTED DOLPHINS. “How beautiful!” and “I could do this for ever” where comments from some our guests, we love this kind of feedback. What a wonderful day!
