In Portuguese it’s the name for the offshore wind, a gusty wind that may occur suddenly and quiet unexpectedly. With no hint in the forecast, it caught us by surprise. For our guests it meant putting on the rain trousers and off into the pleasure. In the morning we went out to observe Pilot whales and Bottlenose dolphins and later a pod of Common dolphins. In the afternoon we stayed closer to shore first with Common dolphins and later near Cabo Girão with Bottlenose dolphins. A big thanks to mother Nature, our great spotter and all our guests, big and small, on board the Stenella.
