Mit diesem Zitat aus der Regionalhymne Madeiras, möchte die Firma “Destino Excitante Lda” seinen Gäste eine einzigartige Erfahrung in einem schönen und ruhigen Dorf in der Mitte des Atlantik bereitstellen.

Dieser Platz war früher der “Albergaria do Penedo”. Es blieb für zwei Jahre geschlossen, und wurde vor kurzem renoviert, umgegliedert und von der Regionaldirektion für Tourismus als 2-Sterne Hotel klassifiziert und von der Firma “Destino Excitante Ltd” als Hotel Vila Bela wiedereröffnet.

Using this quote taken from the regional anthem of Madeira, the company “Destino Excitante Lda“ wishes to provide it’s guests with an unique experience in a beautiful and peaceful village situated in the middle of the Atlantic.

This space was formerly the ‘Albergaria do Penedo’. It remained closed for two years, and has recently been refurnished, reclassified by the Regional Directorate of Tourism and reopened with a rating of a 2 stars hotel by the company “Destino Excitante Ltd” as Hotel Vila Bela. 

Das Hotel verfügt über 12 Zimmer, ein Restaurant und eine Bar mit Terrasse. Alle Zimmer mit Meerblick verfügen über einen Balkon mit zwei Stühlen und einem Tisch. Die Zimmer sind mit Sat-TV, Sekretär, Klimaanlage, Badewanne, Telefon und einem Safe ausgestattet.

The hotel has 12 rooms, a restaurant and bar with terrace. All Sea View rooms have a Balcony and all the hotel rooms are equipped with satellite television, secretary, air conditioned, bathtub, telephone, a safe and in the rooms with Balcony two chairs and one table.

Das Hotel hat ein Restaurant und eine Bar in der Nähe des Pools von Porto da Cruz. Die schöne Terrasse in Richtung der Dorfpromenade geneigt.

Das Vila Bela Restaurant und die Bar vermitteln eine gemütliche und lockere Atmosphäre. Aufgrund der Gastfreundschaft der Eigentümer werden sie sich wie zu Hause fühlen.

Das Restaurant bietet ein abwechslungsreiches Getränke und Snack-Menü à la carte und Desserts.

Unter den verschiedenen Snacks, empfehlen wir speziell die gebratene Chorizo mit Kräutern, die Rühreier mit Mehl, die sautierten Pilze und den Tintenfischsalat.

Die Bar bietet den perfekte Sangria zu den Mahlzeiten. Für einen entspannenden Moment können sie die Bar-Terrasse genießen, während Sie den majestätischen Atlantik betrachten.

The hotel has a restaurant and bar located near the pool of Porto da Cruz with a terrace directed to the village promenade.

The Vila Bela Restaurant and Bar is a homelike and casual place. The hospitality of the owners will make you feel at home.

The restaurant has a diversified drinks and snack menu with à la carte and desserts.

Among the different snacks we specially recommend the fried chorizo with herbs, the scrambled eggs with flour, the sautéed mushrooms and the octopus salad.

The bar has the perfect sangria to go with your meals. For a relaxing moment enjoy our bar terrace while you contemplate the majestic Atlantic Ocean.

Das Hotel bietet einen Zimmerservice, Baby-sitting, Wäscherei-Service, Flughafen Pick-up sowie die Benutzung eines Safes.
In der Nähe des Hotels befindet sich der Pool von Porto da Cruz. Während der Hochsaison haben die Hotelgäste dort freien Eintritt mit einem Tagesticket, welches sie im Hotel erhalten. In der Nebensaison ist der Pool für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.

In den öffentlichen Bereichen sowie im Restaurant erhalten sie kostenlosen WLAN Zugang. In den Zimmern ist allerdings kein Zugang zum Internet möglich.

Das Hotel liegt 100 Meter entfernt vom Praia da Alagoa, einem der wenigen Sandstrände der Insel Madeira. Dies ist ein bekannter Ort für Surfer auf der Insel. Dort können sie Surfkurse belegen und Ausrüstungen mieten (Surfboard, Bodyboard und Standup Pedal).

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer privilegierten Lage, umgeben von verschiedenen Wanderwegen: Portela-Ribeiro Frio, Levada do Castelejo, Porto da Cruz-Machico, Ponta de São Lourenço, Balcões, Caldeirão Verde, Caldeirão do Inferno e Levada do Rei.

The hotel provides for room Service, Baby-sitting, Laundry Service, Airport pick-ups and you can also use a safe.

Close to the hotel is the pool of Porto da Cruz. During the high season the clients are granted free entry with a daily ticket provided to them in the hotel. During low season the pool is open to public.

You can use free Wi-Fi in the common areas and in the restaurant. There is no internet available in the
rooms.

The hotel is located 100 meters from Praia da Alagoa, one of the few sand beaches in Madeira Island. This is a well known spot for surfers in the island. You can join us in surf lessons, surf guide and boards rental (surf, bodyboard and stand up pedal).

The hotel is situated in a privileged location, surrounded by different walking routes : Portela-Ribeiro Frio, Levada do Castelejo, Porto da Cruz-Machico, Ponta de São Lourenço walk, Balcões, Caldeirão Verde, Caldeirão do Inferno e Levada do Rei.
