Who looks like Pilot whales but isn’t? Who has a torpedo-shaped body? Who looks very different from their namesake (Orca)? Who can swim calmly through the sea and still radiate the incredible power? Who is an energetic hunter who also has tuna on their menu? This WHO is a Pseudorca (Pseudorca crassidens) or also called the False killer whale. These animals are rare visitors here. This offshore species is found in temperate to tropical waters.
Today, they first moved far away from each other towards the South-east, then turned to continue their way in the opposite direction. Definitely every time they are an experience, something special, an exciting adventure.
Unfortunately, we didn’t find any marine mammals in the afternoon. Of course, we wish our guests a unique encounter with our friends in the Blue Office on all tours. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. So it became a tour of the rainbows.
