It is always a great pleasure to have smart children on board who are curious, daring and love marine mammals. Spotters, guide, captain, it all adds up to Alina. A girl from Switzerland, who carries the rhythm of the ocean within her. Today she supported our spotter, because she found the Blainville’s beaked whales (Mesoplodon densirostris), she supported our captain Ze, because she drove the boat. And she supported me. Enthusiasm at such a young age. May her dreams come true! I sincerely wish you, Alina, that what you sincerely wish for, will be realised. Go for it! You have to follow your heart’s desires, no ifs, no buts. No doubts, no hesitation. Go for it with a full heart. There are no questions. It requires awareness and action, without compromise.
The Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) were in a love frenzy at midday and the Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) with their calves kept their distance from us in the evening.
